Bill Gemuenden

My name is Bill Gemuenden. I am a brown belt under Master Cleber Luciano. My family has been attending MSMA for 11 years. I did not start training martial arts until I was 51 years old. I hope that I can be an inspiration to others that it’s never too late to start. 2023 was a big year in my martial arts journey. I competed in both the World Muay Thai tournament and the World Masters Jiu Jitsu Tournament. Both were fantastic experiences. I look forward to competing at the World Tournament again.

Heidi Gemuenden

My name is Heidi Gemuenden. I am a purple belt under Cleber Luciano. Bill and I walked into the gym when it 90+ degrees with equal percet humidity (long before we had A/C) there was puddles of sweat everywhere – somehow I came back and 11 years later we are still training and now enjoy AC! Jiu Jitsu is a family sport for us. Our youngest son trained with us for many years and now we are blessed to be able to train every week with two of our grandsons that attend the Youth program. I coach our Little Champs and with our Youth program.
